Pinnacle One Insurance and Nonprofit Second Harvest Initiate New Charity Campaign in Santa Clara and San Mateo Counties to Provide Food for Hungry People in the Area
Santa Clara and San Mateo, CA (PRWEB) September 10, 2014 -- With a new community program in the Santa Clara and San Mateo area, Pinnacle One Insurance has teamed up with nonprofit Second Harvest, and announced a food drive, created to raise food items in support of local families and individuals in need. Second Harvest Food Bank is the trusted leader dedicated to ending local hunger. It has become one of the largest food banks in the nation, providing food to more than one quarter of a million people each month. Food donations for this current campaign can be dropped off at one of Pinnacle One’s three locations, at 1125 Saratoga Avenue, San Jose, CA 95129; 1313 N. Milpitas Blvd. #179, Milpitas, CA 95035; 1200 Pacific Avenue #265, Santa Cruz, CA 95065. Monetary donations can also be made at http://goo.gl/WXatBI.
Utilizing its own resources and seeking the help of its own network of customers and business partners, Pinnacle One Insurance marches on to ensure customers, friends, family and neighbors are always in good hands. The agency just recently launched the master charity program of which the current campaign is part of, electing every 30-90 days a new individual, organization or family in need to receive support.
“Most of us are blessed to have food on the table every day, and we often forget about those who wonder if they will get to have a meal at all,” said Robert Varich, the Agency’s principal. “We’re hoping our wonderful community will join us in bringing nourishment and hope to the needy in our area.”
The agency will promote the current campaign over the course of the next 30-60 days, through its social media channels, email and text message communications, as well as through a monthly magazine, delivered to thousands of households in California, where the agency currently operates. Our Hometown magazine reserves a full page to feature the campaign and details of the cause. The electronic Flipbook version of the current issue can be accessed here: http://www.pin1ins.com/Our-Hometown-Magazine_39.
To support Pinnacle One Insurance’s food drive, donors are encouraged to visit one of their three offices, or the following donations page: http://goo.gl/WXatBI, and also share it with friends and family. Contributors may be acknowledged for their donations through the agency’s monthly magazine.
Once the current campaign is over, Pinnacle One Insurance will continue to work closely with Second Harvest and other nonprofit organizations in the area, to make sure resources are directed to capable hands that can help better the local community, one family or person at a time.
